Transylvania Route V2 (Deva-Mediaș-Câmpia Turzii)

Part of the Transylvania Route project, the Deva-Mediaș-Câmpia Turzii route for Train Simulator Classic has officially released, earning the name of Transylvania Route V2. Building on the previous version of the route, the new extension brings, aside from various bugfixes on V1, 51 1:1 more kilometers to the already existing ~162 kilometers (including Cugir and Simeria Triaj), which means that we are finally over the 200 kilometers mark.

For this extension, we are leaving the Pan-European Corridor IV in favor of the more classic way up to Câmpia Turzii, which means that the route will bring Aiud, Mirăslău, Decea, Unirea (and Unirea hc, in proximity of Ocna Mureș), Războieni, Grindeni, Călărași Turda and Câmpia Turzii, including its IRC Train Depot, which is functional. All of these stations have proper 3D models in order to bring them as close to reality as possible. With this extension, we hope to bring even more diversity to the route, as we now have both classic and modern sections.

The route brings 8 more scenarios, with 5 of them being extensions of previous scenarios on the old version. The package presents IR1734, IR1735, IR1765, R2038, R2036, R3085 and two freight scenarios (“Carburant pentru baza aeriană” and “Marfar militar pentru Deva”). Those are joined by quick drive scenarios too, albeit some basic ones.

THIS PRODUCT IS STANDALONE AND YOU DO NOT NEED TRANSYLVANIA ROUTE V1 IN ORDER TO BUY THIS ROUTE.

For the route and the scenarios to work properly you must buy and install Dovetail's Train Simulator Classic (https://store.steampowered.com/app/24010/Train_Simulator_Classic/) and to install the scenery and infrastructure dependencies (RO Asset Pack, Catenary Pack, Romanian Template and Signals Pack) from https://railstudios.com/ (make sure to check out the tutorials: https://railstudios.com/tutorials/). Also, you must also have the rolling stock from there and the Sky & Weather Enhacement Pack from https://www.armstrongpowerhouse.com/sky_weather_enhancement_pack_2.0. Beware that the scenarios used the 1.0 version of the pack, so there might be some problems with the weather on the 2.0 version. Take note that if you don't have the weather pack, you will have a default weather in the new scenarios, missing on the dynamic effects that the AP is offering and even influence the scenarios. Also, for the scenarios to work, you have to install the freeware/payware rolling stock presented on www.railstudios.com.

Installation

Launch the Utilities tool (that can be found in the game's directory), click on Package Manager, click refresh and then install. From the new window select the .rwp files that were downloaded.

ATTENTION! If you already own Transylvania Route V1, it's enough to only install "Ruta Transilvania V2.0 (Deva-Medias-Campia Turzii)" and "Custom Objects 2".

The archive also contains a version for the Romanian Asset Pack 6.1. DO NOT install the Custom Objects or the rwp file of the route from that particular folder if you installed the 6.5 version of the Romanian Asset Pack. Those are strictly for the 6.1 version.
