Alba Iulia-Zlatna Route
Alba Iulia-Zlatna Route
After a long break, we are back with our newest route!
The Alba Iulia-Zlatna Route has a total of 42 kilometers, of which 6 kilometers are electrified and part of the modernized M200A. The rest of the 36 kilometers are part of the secondary line (210) and it is non-electrified. In real life, this line is covered by Regio Călători, which is maintaining 4 trains per day.
This route brings again the stations of Alba Iulia, Bărăbanț, Antestație Bărăbanț in the simulator, but also brings, for the first time ever in a train simulator, the stations of Bărăbanț Nord, Șard Ighiu Hm, Apoița hc, Tăuțu Ampoiului hc, Văleni Meteș hc, Poiana Ampoiului hc, Prisaca hc, Feneș hc, Zlatna Tehnică, Zlatna h and Zlatna H.
This route also includes 6 scenarios, of which 4 are passenger (R 11376 Alba Iulia-Zlatna, R 11378 Zlatna-Alba Iulia, Regio special Alba Iulia-Zlatna, Zlatna-Alba Iulia, Tren de epocă aniversar) and 2 are freight (Lemne pentru Bărăbanț, Provizii pentru Zlatna). The route also supports Quick Drive scenarios.
VERY IMPORTANT!
The route is standalone and you don’t need to own any other products from our website in order to buy it. But if you already own the Transylvania Route V3, you will unlock a free Transylvania Route V3.5 upon the purchase of the Alba Iulia-Zlatna Route, which has to be downloaded separately from our website. Beware that the process is manual and can take a few days. Please write us in case it takes more than 3 days. Also, make sure that you buy this route with the same account in which you have the Transylvania Route V3.
The Transylvania Route V3.5 consists of the whole Transylvania Route V3 and the Alba Iulia-Zlatna extension, and also brings 2 more freight scenarios (Comandă pentru Sibiu – Zlatna – Copșa Mică and Pregătiri pentru aplicație militară – Cugir-Zlatna).
Beware that the Transylvania Route V3.5 has a length of around 300 kilometers, which will take its toll on the FPS. Thus, the FPS will be lower than that of the Alba Iulia-Zlatna Route. We recommend that you should only use that route in case you want to include the Alba Iulia-Zlatna extension with the rest of the route in your scenarios (ex. a Deva-Zlatna scenario).
The route is using the Armstrong Powerhouse Sky & Weather Pack and thus, some scenarios are having a standard weather, while others are having a random weather. If the scenario has a random weather, it will be noted in the scenario’s description. Beware that in order to make sure that you have a random weather, you must first launch the scenario and exit it as soon as it’s loaded. All you have to do is then to launch it again from the Scenarios list without closing the game. Should you not like the weather, all you have to do is to redo the process. The scenarios with random weather are signaled as such in the description.
VERY IMPORTANT!
THE PRICE CONVERTED FROM LEI IS CIRCA 14 EUROS.
For the route and the scenarios to work properly you must buy and install Dovetail’s Train Simulator Classic (https://store.steampowered.com/app/24010/Train_Simulator_Classic/) and to install the scenery and infrastructure dependencies (RO Asset Pack – exclusively v7, Infrastructure Pack, Railway Tracks Pack, Catenary Packs, Romanian Template and Signals Pack, Romanian Semaphores Pack) from https://railstudios.com (make sure to check out the tutorials: https://railstudios.com/tutorials). In case you have missing objects, please reinstall the above mentioned packs. Also, you must also have the rolling stock from there (both freeware and payware) and the Sky & Weather Enhancement Pack from https://www.armstrongpowerhouse.com/sky_weather_enhancement_pack_2.0. Take note that if you don’t have the weather pack, you will have a default weather in the scenarios, missing on the dynamic effects and random weather that the AP is offering.
Installation
Launch the Utilities tool (that can be found in the game’s directory), click on Package Manager, click refresh and then install. From the new window select the .rwp files that were downloaded (from the .rar archive).
